    Bubbles! God Shuffled His Feet Lyrics - Scroll Down and Turn Sound On

    So, there's been a run on my bubbles art. People are loving these for their children and grandchildren. I've sold all my inventory and (was) making new ones as I go ~ (see sob story below). Disappointed

    I think I will become known for my bubbles art though. I say this because I have some fabulous new ideas which have yet to be painted. But you will see them as soon as I get them done (IF I get them done).

    18" X 24" and sold ~

    I think I love painting bubbles. Note the luminscence.

    But the bad news is I've messed up my neck and been put on restriction from creating any new art or working on any art for awhile though; and that pretty much sucks for me. Yup, that pretty much sux as this is what I enjoy doing the most. (And I have half a dozen incomplete works that need finishing touches and pieces that are in need of a bunch of blending. I have a Perez to complete, a Betty White to complete, a pile of shar peis to complete, a bird house to complete, another bubbles almost done to complete, and a beautiful snow scene to complete .... and all I can say is just "URGH-BLAH!" What is a girl to do anyway?) The mere thought of not doing what I love most is a pain in the neck... never mind the actual medical prognosis!

    So I say this, "AGING JUST SUCKS!!! DON'T GET OLD! It ain't for sissies!" But we all go there... so there is that. At least it's fair... we all go there.

    As I boldly go forward - in my non-sissy like way - getting older and older (TIC-TOC-TIC-TOC) with a massive pain in my neck - I STILL wish you much love, from Lori LAMSRed heart

    (And obviously, massive drama queen too.) You don't expect anything less do you?

    Sunday 10-4-09 Update:

    Bubbles #3 - Sold. I painted this because I mixed way too much paint when I created the large one (shown above). Well, I certainly didn't want to throw out perfectly good paint, so I painted a smaller version of the original, and here it is. So what have we learned here? Absolutely nothing other than I NEVER WASTE MATERIALS. No, never. I will always make something first. And, really, "big deal to that."

    Late Sunday 10/4 Evening Music Change:

    "God Shuffled His Feet Lyrics"

     After seven days
    He was quite tired so God said:
    "Let there be a day
    Just for picnics, with the wine and bread"
    He gathered up some people He had made
    Created blankets and laid back in the shade

    The people sipped their wine
    And what with God there, they asked Him questions
    Like: do you have to eat?
    Or get your hair cut in heaven?
    And if your eye got poked out in this life
    Would it be waiting up in heaven with your wife?

    God shuffled His feet and glanced around at them;
    The people cleared their throats and stared right back at Him

    So He said: "Once there was a boy
    Who woke up with blue hair
    To him it was a joy
    Until he ran out into the warm air
    He thought of how his friends would come to see;
    And would they laugh, or had he got some strange disease?

    God shuffled His feet and glanced around at them;
    The people cleared their throats and stared right back at Him

    The people sat waiting
    Out on their blankets in the garden
    But God said nothing
    So someone asked him: "I beg your pardon:
    I'm not quite clear about what you just spoke
    Was that a parable, or a very subtle joke?"

    God shuffled His feet and glanced around at them;
    The people cleared their throats and stared right back at Him

    Good morning Lieutenant LAMS ( in my Forrest Gump typing voice)…

    May this day find your neck well and feeling better to fling a brush.
    JR’s neck has been tweaked too from being at the bottom of a football pile during last weeks game Fortunately, it is just a pulled trapezes muscle.

    So…God shuffles his feet eh…
    Yeah…I can picture that when He waits for us when we stray in thoughts, imaginations, and then life choices.

    Bubbles! Lil’ Charlee love bubble baths. She spent the weekend here while her mommy and daddy went down to Tulsa to the Dave Matthews concert. I can still here soft cute little voice over the baby monitor yesterday morning @ 5:30 am, “Popa! Popaaaa!”

    The heat to my home has been turned on the last two mornings with 40 degree nights returning to our Ozarks. Propane is on the way this week for my fireplace too…You know how much my body hates the cold. But then my house has this homey Fall Season feel as the cooler winds blow in from the north. Pumpkin spice candles currently burn and share fragrances with my vanilla cappuccino. D’oh!!!
    Geesh!!!! I sound like a girly guy. But then making a home sweet home is important. We should all have a place like that don’t ya know.

    I also came by the morning because I wanted to make sure I had the date down for the silent auction.

    OCTOBER 17th EVERYONE!

    Anyone feeling down in the dumps??? All we have to do is go do something for someone else. There all kinds of places that we can give…

    Like Phil Knight’s simple slogan from Nike…”Just Do It…”

    OK…stepping, tripping, stumbling, bumbling down from my soap box at LAMS house.

    Be well my now long time friend…Greg

    Does your head and neck go in circles when you paint bubbles...grin. Yep, aging is a pain, but at least we have made it this far. BTW, pulling your hair in frustration is an exercise in futility and additional pain. Stock up on some really good Merlot and dream of all the projects yet to come. You are a delight my friend.
